The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and oversight of all operations, including developing and implementing a business plan and budget that will result in profitability
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute business development models and strategies to achieve profit Analyse financial data and formulate policies to enhance revenue growth and cost control

• Budget forecasts and planning
• Implement employee performance evaluation and improvement plans
• Prepare reports on farm conditions, crop yields, machinery upkeep, performance forecasts, etc. for management
• Manage requisitions and purchases for farm operations
• Regular interactions and effective communication of business plans to stakeholders Develop and maintain strong business relationships with relevant agencies and regulatory bodies
Qualification, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• A good first degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent in the social sciences from a reputable institution.
• A higher degree/professional qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in agronomy and crop production, four (4) of which must be at supervisory/managerial level
• Strategic thinking

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing field trial programs, research activities and generate data for products development
Key Responsibilities
• In-field research yield trial management
• Lead the development of products based on research and trial programs
• Generate and efficiently interpret research data
• Provide relevant insights and recommendations from research for product enhancement Provide effective, timely and sound technical support to meet and exceed project objectives
• Provide technical leadership to encourage and develop innovations
• Ensure proper management of research resources
• Manage other research employees to meet research objectives
Qualification, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• A good first degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent in Agricultural Engineering or a related discipline from a reputable institution.
• A higher degree/professional qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum of:3 years experience in research and development, one (1) of which must be at supervisory/managerial level

PRODUCTION MANAGER – prdmgr@aviraltd.com
Location: Yola
The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of all aspects of commercial seed and crop production
Key Responsibilities
• Manage crops, fields and commercial seed production
• Manage the production fields
• Oversee production facility construction and management
• Run and analyse production data
• Manage land acquisition and leases for production
• Implement and manage the quality control of production
• Coordinate planting and harvesting activities
• Liaise with foreign technical partners
• Effectively managing efficient vendors of materials, equipment or supplies
Qualification, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• A good first degree (minimum 2.2) or its equivalent in Agriculture or Engineering from a reputable institution.
• A higher degree or professional qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in agro production, three (3) of which must be at supervisory level

The successful candidate will be responsible for development and implementation of marketing / sales strategies, Identification of new business opportunities and provision of optimum customer support
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing accounts and develop new accounts
• Ensure sales targets and business objectives are met
• Determine and effectively manage sales budgets to optimise resources and enhance financial control
• Analyse industry trend and develop sales strategies based on market Intelligence
• Regular interaction with R&D to optimize value to customers
• Develop and manage effective and efficient customer relationship management system to promote service quality and feedback
• Ensure product technical support for optimum customer satisfaction
Qualification, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• A good first degree (minimum 3, 2) or equivalent from a reputable institution, A higher degree or professional qualification wi1l be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years professional field sales experience in the agro industry, three (3) of which must be at supervisory level
• Strong business acumen and leadership skills
